Kyoto Tower (131m)

The Kyoto Tower rises to the sky in front of Kyoto Station. From the observation deck at 100 meters above the ground, visitors enjoy a 360 degree panoramic view of the city of Kyoto. On a clear day, visitors can see as far as Osaka.
The Tower character, Towawa-chan, who was born to commemorate it's 40th anniversary makes an appearance in the observation deck on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
