It was built for tourism and radio transmission for television broadcasting during the post-war reconstruction and urban planning.
In 2020, the world's first seismic isolation method was applied, and it was reborn as a safe and secure "MIRAI TOWER" and opened its grand opening.
In 2022, it was designated as a national important cultural property for the first time as a tower.
You can see a moving panoramic view from the observatory "Sky Deck" located 90m above the ground.
The tower lighting "Kirameki" will bring to characters and patterns according to various scenes such as seasons and events, and will beautifully illuminate the nights of Nagoya with a variety of colors and light effects created by the latest LEDs.
